Cross Country Marathon Fundraiser

The Annual Cross Country Marathon Fundraiser will be held on Friday, September 6th from 3:50-5:40 PM at the Ridge View H.S. Track. This event is a fundraiser used to help our student-athletes purchase team sweats, t-shirts, and other items, as well as fund our program for the 2013 season.  If you would like to make a contribution to the team, please contact Coach Brian Rosefield at Brosefield@richland2.org.

Blazer Welcomes New Teachers And Staff!

Blazer was making appearances all over Ridge View today with a welcoming gift for all new teachers and staff.  Each person was given a gift of a balloon, a small flower pot filled with office supplies, and a card from Blazer.

The First PTSO And SIC Meetings Of The Year!

The first PTSO meeting of the year is scheduled for 6 PM on Monday, September 9 in the Ridge View HS Media Center.  We have an exciting year planned, and it all begins with this first meeting.

The SIC meeting immediately follows the PTSO meeting, is scheduled for 7 PM, and is also in the Media Center.  

Chromebooks Are Being Delivered!

Cheryl Hunter and some student volunteers have been working very hard at getting the Chromebooks ready to be distributed to students this week.  This is a huge task and we are extremely thankful to have Cheryl Hunter as part of the Blazer family.

National Healthcare - Parklane, 2012-13 Richland Two Business Partner of the Year

For over 8 years NHC-Parklane's director, Ms. Melissa Argo and staff, have provided Ridge View High School's Health Science and the Institute of Health Sciences Magnet program the opportunity to perform the 40 clinical hours required for students to practice skills for their National CNA Certification.  During these clinical hours RVHS Gerontology students work side by side with staff (CNA's and nurses) at NHC in caring for long-term care patients.  The students receive assisted, hands-on patient care on skills that are required to pass the national exam.  Students interact, problem solve, and assist with designated therapies. Ridge View is very proud of their relationship with NHC-Parklane and all the real world work opportunities they provide our students.  Through this partnership, we have created a very personal bond with NHC.
