Athletics: We Accept Sports Physicals Via Email
In an effort to streamline the acceptance of sports physicals, completed physical packets can be emailed to the following email addresses:

Remember there are FOUR pages that need to be sent in: History Form, Physical Examination Form and both Richland 2 Sports Health Forms (one of which is the concussion acknowledgment as well as consent to treat). Packets can also be printed from RidgeViewSports.com.
Please convert to PDF before emailing packets in. CamScanner & Genius Scan are some examples of free mobile apps for PDF conversion.
Physical packets can also be turned into the Athletic Training Room or Coach Rosefield’s Office.
Do not slide Physical Packets under the door. Completed Physical Packets must be handed in or emailed to any of the above people.
All FOUR pages of the Packet must be completed. Partially completed physicals will not be accepted.
Packets must be dated after April 1, 2019 to be able to participate in Ridge View Sports for the 2019-2020 school year. Blank packets can be picked up in the Main Office, Athletic Training Room or Coach Rosefield’s Office. Athletics: Tickets For Friday Night’s Game Being Presold 12-1 on Friday
Get your tickets to Friday’s ON CAMPUS Varsity Football Game on Friday, August 30 between 12-1 in the main office at RVHS. Save money and time and get your ticket early! Presold tickets are $6. Tickets at the gate are $7.
Ridge View hosts Wayne Hills (NJ) on Friday night at 7:30pm in Varsity Football action! The JV game will be Thursday at 4pm. Tickets to that game will be $5.
The Clear Bag Policy will be in place on Friday night.

For the first time ever the Ridge View High School Athletic Department is offering a Fall Sports Pass for RVHS students only! This pass will be a punch card allowing students to enter ANY home regular season contest for the Fall Sports. The cost for the card is only $30 and can be purchased in the Main Office between the hours of 8am and 4pm on school days. Don’t miss this opportunity for HUGE savings off Ridge View Fall Sports! This is for RVHS students only. Limit 1 per student.

ACADEMICS: Dr. Degenhardt, PAEMST State Finalist
Congratulations to Dr. Degenhardt. He is a state finalist for the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) and was honored by the Richland Two Board. The PAEMST is the highest honor bestowed by the United States government specifically for K-12 science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and/or computer science teaching. Awards are given to science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and/or computer science teachers who have deep content knowledge of the subjects they teach and the ability to motivate and enable students to be successful in those areas. PEAMST Awardees reflect the expertise and dedication of our Nation's teachers and demonstrate the positive impact of excellent teachers on student achievement. We are so proud of you Dr. Degenhardt.
ACADEMICS: Randazzo & Jones Wins State at SC National History Day
Congratulations to Scholars Academy Magnet for Business and Law rising juniors Sam Randazzo and Anna Jones, who won the state award for South Carolina at National History Day finals in Baltimore, MD this summer for their documentary on the Chinese Cultural Revolution. So proud of you both!

Ridge View Alumni Co-Authors Advice Book for College Students
Savannah Putnam, a Ridge View and University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill graduate, is now an author. Teaming up with Austin Helms, also a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, they wrote Orientation to Graduation 2.0: Advice from Real College Students. The book launched in May 2019 and debuted as #1 in Education and #1 in College & University Life. This is the only book written for incoming college students by real college students. Regular Bell Schedule Begins Today, 8/26
This is just a reminder that Ridge View will be on a Regular bell schedule TODAY, Monday, August 26th. Students should report to 1st period at 8:30 AM. We are also enforcing our tardy and ID policies. So please be on time for class every period. ACTIVITIES: The Class of 2020 Hosted a Successful Senior Sunrise
For the third year, Ridge View's Senior Class marked the start of their final year of high school with Senior Sunrise. Members of the Class of 2020 arrived to school a little early to celebrate this occasion with goal setting, breakfast, and fellowship. Richland Two's Superintendent Dr. Davis, Ridge View Principal Dr. Mack-Foxworth, and Gear Up Coordinator Ms. Williams all inspired students to press on through this last year and complete what they have started. As as class, seniors promised to stay positive, be involved, apply for scholarships, and graduate. All students were invited to write a goal or something they hoped to accomplish as well as sign a cap and gown as a pledge to wear it on June 5th at noon.
