The first cuts will be made after the second day of tryouts. To be eligible to participate in any tryouts, you MUST have a completed physical packet dated April 2015 or after on file with the Athletic Trainer. All fall sports participants will be given a fair opportunity to tryout once their season has completed. Please be reminded that if you quit a fall sport that you will not be allowed to tryout for basketball until that fall sport's team has finished its regular season. The final decision on who makes the basketball teams will be up to the Head Basketball Coach, but input will be taken into consideration from others such as coaches, administrators, teachers and staff members. The following is a partial list of criteria that will be used to select our teams: academic standing, classroom attitude, discipline, attitude & character, dedication & commitment, potential, ability to be coached, grade level, desire, and ability & position. If you have any questions, please contact Coach John Combs at jcombs@richland2.org.

REMINDER: Ed-Op College Fair Tomorrow

Make the most of this experience by being prepared with the following:
  • Formulate questions to ask the representatives.
  • Prepare self-stick labels with your name, address, email, phone number, high school, year of graduation, intended major(s) and extracurricular activities. A Teacher Cadet Olympic competition was held, and our cadets tied for second place. To learn more about our Teacher Cadets, follow them on twitter @CadetsRvhs.
