New to THE VIEW Fiesta!!

The Ridge View Counseling Department will host a New to Ridge View High School Fiesta for transfer students new to Richland School District 2 on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 12:20 PM in the Library Commons. Students will take a virtual tour of the wonderful academic programs and extracurricular activities offered  "At The View".  If you have any questions please contact the RVHS School Counseling Department at 843-622-2999 ext. 84224.

ATHLETICS: HOMECOMING September 28, 2018!

Homecoming is a deeply special event where we invite all Ridge View Alumni to come back, see old friends and enjoy a special evening of fellowship.  We truly hope to pack the home side stands with current and former Blazers!  Don’t miss the fun!

Online tickets are available at tinyurl.com/RidgeViewSportsTickets.  Select the game vs. York on 9/28/18 to purchase online.  Tickets will be $7 at the gate as well.  Ticket booths open at 6:30pm.

Complete the Free/Reduced Lunch Application Today

Richland Two has announced its policy for free and reduced price meals for children served in schools under the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. 

Parents must fill out an application each year for children to receive meals at free or reduced price. Students who received free/reduced price meals during the 2017-2018 school year will begin paying full price if an application for the current school year is not submitted by Oct. 3, 2018.  Applications may be completed online or on paper. Both can be found here.

ACTIVITIES: Senior Superlatives Nominations Due Sept 21st

It is that time of the year we recognize our superlatives of the senior class through senior superlatives nominations.  The deadline for nominations is September 21, 2018.

Guidelines for Senior Superlatives Nominations are as follows:

• Only individuals who are classified as seniors by the RVHS counselor’s office may hold a title.
• Individuals may hold only one Senior Superlative title.
• Current discipline and attendance records will be considered.

COLLEGES: September College Representative Visit Schedule

College representatives will visit RVHS during the school year in the College Center (D95) to meet with interested students. We encourage students to participate in this program to meet with college reps so they can make a personal connection to colleges. The reps meet with students in small-group sessions and discuss academic programs, campus life, financial aid and admission procedures. If a student is interested they should stop by D95 to get a pass to attend.
