Ridge View High School had 14
students qualify and attend the HOSA National Leadership Conference in
Nashville, Tennessee June 26-30, 2013.
These 14 students competed in a wide array of areas to include
Extemporaneous Speaking, Epidemiology, Medical
Assisting, Biotechnology, Human Growth and Development,
HOSA Bowl, and Creative
Problem Solving. Ridge View’s
students were prepared and represented their school impeccably. RVHS’s Creative Problem Solving Team of
Quentin Bankhead, Imani Belton, Peighton Forbes, and Akire` Hoots placed 3rd in the Nation in Creative Problem Solving with over 35 teams competing in
this area. Ridge View High School is the only
high school in South Carolina to have received national medals for 6 years in a
