IT-ology, in partnership with Winthrop University and the SC Regional Education Centers, will be coordinating the "Aspirations in Computing Award" for South Carolina female students this year. This is a great opportunity for young women interested in information technology. The NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing honors young women at the high-school level for their computing-related achievements and interests. The Award offers both national and local "affiliate" competitions to generate support and visibility for women's participation in communities nationwide. The South Carolina Affiliate will be announcing the winners during CSEd Week in December.
