On Friday, September 20, WACH Fox 57's Spirit Squad will broadcast during their 7 AM news hour from Ridge View High School. One goal of their Spirit Squad program is to collect non-perishable food items for Harvest Hope Food Bank. We to thank all our RV parents who donated cans at Open House, however, we have much more to go in order to win this competition. Student Activities is hosting a competition among 1st period classes. The 1st period class who brings the most non-perishable food items will win a PIZZA Party!!! Additionally for every 5 cans a student brings to his/her 1st period, his/her name will be entered into a drawing to win Ridge View football tickets. So if you bring 5 cans, your name will be entered once. But if you want to do more and bring in 10 cans then your name will be submitted twice in the drawing. To even make the deal sound much better, your administrator will to reduce the numbers hours received from "tardies" or "no ids" by 1 hour for every can you bring in. Let the games begin. All non-perishable food items must be turned in to your first period teacher by Thursday, September 19th.
