Homecoming Week at Ridge View is also a competition between grades for the coveted "Spirit Trophy," which is displayed in the Main Hallway during Homecoming. Students can earn points for their grade level in the following manner:
- Hallway Decorations
- Participating in dress days (if adults participate, they earn 10 points for the grade of their choice).
- Attending evening activities
- Going "above and beyond" (adults will send names of students who behave wonderfully for 20 points)
- Lowest amount of discipline issued for the week based on grade level
- Highest attendance for the week based on grade
The trophy will be awarded after the Homecoming Queen and King are crowned at halftime of Friday night's football game vs. Irmo.
