Earlier this week, Janice Rice-Kafafy, Ridge View's Special Education Department Leader, spoke to our Teacher Cadets about some of the laws, procedures, and categories of special education. Mrs. Rice-Kafafy shared some of her personal experiences as well as what it truly means to be a teacher.
RV Teacher Cadets are currently studying a unit focused on special education and barriers to learning, so Mrs. Rice-Kafafy's presentation was extremely beneficial to the students. It is obvious that she is passionate and knowledgeable about her profession!
