Journalism Contest Offers Four-Year College Schalarship
The S.C. Governor's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities is holding their 2014 Journalism Contest. The winner of this contest receives a four-year scholarship to the South Carolina state-supported institution of his or her choice. Your article must address the theme: "Because we are EQUAL to the task." Your article should reflect the diversity of skills people with disabilities offer, challenge common misconceptions about disability employment and reinforce the message that, at work, it's what people CAN do that matters."
