Dr. Hamm visited Ridge View High School. Mrs. Janice Rice-Kafafy and her students created their own "memory" and decorated the room using a "campfire" theme. They roasted marshmallows and made s'mores while telling stories and sitting in their pajamas. Yes, Dr. Hamm was in her PJs as well.
It was the Ridge View faculty and staff contributions to United Way that allowed for this visit. The percentage of Ridge View participants increased by 5%, raising over $3,000 for the campaign. This was a 131% increase from last year.
