- Collecting non-perishable goods to benefit God's Storehouse. Our goal is to collect 13,000 goods.
- Sponsoring foster children to benefit the children of the Department of Social Services. Our goal is to sponsor 80 children. If you would like to sponsor a foster child, you must be willing to buy $60 in presents plus a teddy bear to represent the child at the Winter Wishes Assembly on Wednesday, December 11th.
- The Giving Bowl is a collaboration between Student Council and the Fine Arts department in which a soup kitchen style dinner is served. Tickets are sold for the dinner. Each ticket sold allows the recipient to choose a "bowl" that has been created by students in our Visual Arts program. The money raised will benefit The Family Shelter. Our goal is to raise $1,800. This dinner will be held on Thursday, November 21st from 6:00 - 7:30 PM. Tickets will be sold starting November 12th and can be purchased from a member of Student Council, NAHS, Dance or Drama. Entertainment for the Giving Bowl will be provided by RV's dance, drama, orchestra, band and chorus departments. There will also be a silent auction for gift baskets beginning on November 12th and ending on the night of the Giving Bowl.
- We will be collecting new books and new toys to benefit Happy Wheels. The goal is to collect 200 items. We are focusing on 12-18 year olds and requests include: sports balls, DVD's (not R-rated), board games like Monopoly, cosmetic items, card games, handheld electronic games, sketch books and colored pencils, iTunes gift cards ($10 denominations), and puzzles (500 pieces or more).
