The Sophomore Allied Health Magnet students toured Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital in December. Regina Brown facilitated the opportunity for the students to speak with Valeria Richardson about career opportunities in the medical field. The students visited the Laboratory and the Birthplace facilities. The students were able to examine the use of bioinformatics in a hospital setting. They also learned about medical technologies located in each Birthplace room to cater to the needs of patients.
