The Winter Wishes Committee, Student Council, and Student Activities would like to thank everyone on your willingness to "Branch Out and Serve Others" during this holiday season. Your commitment to making the lives of others better is remarkable and fills us all with Blazer pride.
Our final donation numbers look awesome.
- Giving Bowl: Our goal of $1,800 was exceeded as The Family Shelter of Columbia received $2,400.
- Foster Children: We met our goal of sponsoring 85 children from Richland County DSS. Fifty-eight of those children attended the foster child party.
- Collecting New Toys and Books: Our goal of 200 was exceeded as 315 new toys and books plus $155 was given to Happy Wheels to benefit patients at Palmetto Children's Hospital.
- Canned Goods: We exceeded our goal of 13,000 canned goods by donating 13,668 goods and $500 to God's Storehouse.
We would like to thank each and every one of you who contributed in some way to make this project successful.
