The YMCA is seeking representation from Ridge View High School for their central board in hopes that they might kick start new youth leadership opportunities at your local YMCA. They hope to inspire enthusiasm, hard work, and commitment to Columbia's youth. Through monthly meetings and participation at the Downtown YMCA, they will encourage a willingness to take what you learned back to your local community. The YMCA needs more participation and are hoping that Ridge View could supply some potential board members.
The first meeting will be on December 14th and the Downtown YMCA located at 1420 Sumter Street Columbia, SC 29201 from 10 AM to 1 PM.
