Johanna Strickland, Ridge View's Health teacher, was awarded a $500 mini-grant by the Columbia (SC) Chapter, The Links, Inc. This grant will be used for activities and experiences in Mrs. Strickland's Nutritional Health class this semester, including a field trip to a farm, guest speakers, shopping for and preparing healthy snacks, and collaborations with Dance and Physical Education classes to encourage a lifetime of physical activity.
