Blazer teacher Mrs. Strickland ran in the Walt Disney Marathon over the weekend in memory of her high school track and cross country coach Rosalin Prisciandaro. Coach Roz passed away from Acute Myeloid Leukemia last year. All of the money raised will go directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Coach Roz had a very big impact in the North Country running community with both her coaching and helping to organize the Run For Jon. She was an amazing mother, wife, coach, friend and teacher. Team Roz raised over $2800 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Mrs. Strickland finished the marathon in a time of 5 hours and 5 minutes. Way to go Mrs. Strickland!
