Walker Presents at Annual State English Teachers Conference

Scholars Academy Director Nicole Walker presented at the South Carolina Council of Teachers of English annual conference on Friday, January 21, 2014 at Kiawah Island, SC. Mrs. Walker discussed ways to enhance cognitive reading strategies through the use of technology as an embedded part of the classroom. The material is part of an upcoming article she will be publishing in Voices in the Middle with Dr. Mary Styslinger of the University of South Carolina.
