On February 27, all of the Blazer Biology teachers gathered at Clemson University's Sandhills Research and Education Center to discuss curriculum design in regard to the Common Core and the S.C. Science Standards. Attendees included Bryan Ashley, David Degenhardt, Alison Hyder, Robert Roy, and Adrienne Zweimiller. In the picture, Dr. Mac Horton, Director of Sandhills Research and Education Center (REC) and of the Clemson Institute for Economic and Community Development (CIECD), is giving a presentation on the history of the use of the facility in science, as well as discussing opportunities for partnering with RVHS and the community in scientific research and education.
