ACADEMICS Spotlight: H.I.R.E. Donates to Animal Shelter
On March 12th, Ms. Turnipseed and her H.I.R.E. students visited the William Crowe Animal Shelter in Camden. This is a no kill shelter that the H.I.R.E. students have sponsored for over 5 years. They delivered over 110 pounds of dog and cat food, 8 bags of treats, doggy potty pads, warm blankets and towels. These supplies were donated by the class, faculty, staff and students of Ridge View. The class will continue to sponsor the shelter for the rest of the year, and will happily accept additional donations, which can be dropped off in room G8.
