Ridge View had another successful year at the 2014 South Carolina HOSA Conference and Competition. Twenty-three students attended the conference. The following members qualified for the National HOSA Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida on June 25-29th: Bria Dantzler (1st in Biotechnology); the team of Quinton Bankhead, Akire Hoots and Courtney Lee (2nd in Creative Problem Solving); Elizabeth Bravo (3rd in Medical Assisting); and Jada Williams (3rd in Physical Therapy). Danielle Worrell was named Outstanding HOSA Member for her leadership by the local chapters in South Carolina.  She also received a $1,000 scholarship from State HOSA for her outstanding scholarship and community service.
