Joseph Rivers and Shenika Glover will represent Ridge View High School as SC "Students for Civility." This initiative, developed by Senator Lourie, Senator Shealy, Representative Bingham, Representative McLeod, and Representative Bernstein, is designed to help our youth understand the importance of civility and politics, have confidence in the democratic process, and value collaboration within the legislative process. On March 26th, Joseph and Shenika will attend an all day "Students for Civility" event in which they will shadow either a SC House or Senate member. At the end of the day, they will participate in a discussion and reflection forum about their experience. We are proud of Joseph and Shenika for being two of the first "Students for Civility" participants.
