ACADEMICS Spotlight: Genetics Class Writes Poems for Eliza

Students in Dr. Hyder's Genetics class wrote "found poems" about Eliza and Sanfilippo Syndrome. Found poems are written by reviewing articles, writing down key words or phrases that stick out to the student, and then make a poem out of those key phrases and terms. These poems were posted on a wall at the Rebel Against...Sanfilippo Dance-a-thon on Friday, April 4th, and were given to Eliza and her family at the conclusion of the dance.
