The S.C. Jr. Classical League held its annual spring convention at Ridge View on March 22nd. Ten schools and 160 students participated in the convention. Students were engaged in a series of quiz bowls, paper-and-pencil tests, an oratorical contest, impromptu art, and other artistic displays. Other highlights of the day included "chariot races" by schools that brought their own home-made chariot as well as other foot races and competitions. Our Blazers received ten ribbons for placing in various events and competitions. Way to go Latin students!
