State Superintendent of Education announced the Palmetto Gold and Silver Award recipients for the 2013-14 school year. Schools and career centers were recognized for general performance, closing the achievement gap, or for both. Within each category, a school may be awarded either the Gold or Silver designation. We are proud to report that Ridge View High School was one of only 65 schools that were awarded the Gold designation in both categories. Of this group, Dr. Zais said that "the top 5 percent truly are our superstars." We would like to thank every faculty and staff member, student, and parent for their commitment to excellence and proving to everyone in state of South Carolina that we are truly AWESOME AT THE VIEW!!
