ACADEMIC Spotlight: Latin Students Earn National Recognition

Sixty-two Latin students took the National Latin Exam sponsored by the American Classical League in March. Latin Instructor Dr. Richard Lussier reported that the students did well, and that three students received national recognition. Latin I student Adam Jimenez, and Latin III students Nick Heiler and Candice McConnell all received parchment certificates stating "Cum Laude" for their achievement on the National Latin Exam. Cum Laude means "with honor" in Latin. Congratulations Blazers!
