On Thursday, May 15th, the area was hit with heavy rain showers that had most people ducking for cover inside nearby buildings. However, our JROTC cadets were unfazed when it came to fulfilling their responsibility of retiring the flag for the evening. Despite the heavy rains, they paid attention to ensuring the folds were proper, that no red was showing, and that the colors never touched the ground. We are so proud of the dedication and honor displayed by these cadets.
