The girls Track & Field team has qualified in 6 events for this weekends State Championship at Spring Valley High School. The Lady Blazers 4x100 Meter Relay contingent of Arlicia Bush, Johnaida Eliscar, Melinda McCallum & Amarrah Cooks qualified with a time of 47.91 while Faith McKie will take the place of McCallum in the 4x400 Meter Relay, which qualified in 3:58.27. Both relay's are in good position to possibly win state titles in these events. Bush will try to improve upon her 2nd place finish in the 400 at last year's State Meet while also competing in the 200 Meters. Eliscar will also compete in the 400 while McKie qualified in the 400 Meter Hurdles. Best of luck Blazers!
