Representative Mia McLeod drafted a House of Representatives Resolution for our Lady Blazers Girls Track team for setting a new State record for the 4x400 relay. It was introduced and formally read across the House desk on Tuesday, June 3rd. Arlicia Bush, Amarrah Cooks, Faith McKie, Johnaida Eliscar, Melinda McCallum, Coach Amber Haver, RVHS principal Mrs. Brenda Mack-Foxworth, and Superintendent Dr. Debbie Hamm were recognized on the floor of the House of Representatives. After they were introduced to the legislative body, the Resolution was read aloud and presented by Rep. McLeod. Speaker Harrell also recognized them. To read the resolution, click the image above.
