RV teachers Patti Clary, Mike Houck, Agnes Knox, and Teah Smith are currently attending a STEM professional development in collaboration with EdVenture Children's Museum. This workshop is designed to engage teachers in the maker education movement and STEM initiative. Teachers will learn about the national maker education initiative through a series of activities designed to stimulate STEM instruction, collaboration, creativity, and foster soft skills development. In the pictures shown above, our teachers were working on "maker" projects. We can't wait to see what they have planned for their students this upcoming school year.
