On
Sunday, August 24th, Ridge View High School Master Haircare Instructor, Terex
Smalls, and thirteen talented and professional barbers donated their time to
cut hair for Richland School District Two students, faculty, staff, and the
community. Now that Ridge View has a new
Master Haircare Lab, customers were able to experience the real deal. Mr. Smalls’ barbering students also worked
the entire event and learned hair cutting techniques from experience
barbers. Thanks to our cheerleaders, donations were also collected on Hard Scrabble and Summit Parkway roads. Although donations are still being accepted
by the PTSO until Friday, September 5th, Ridge View’s 2nd Annual
Cuts for Gabbiee raised approximately $1,200. All proceeds will go towards the Gabbiee
Swainson Scholarship fund and the Master Haircare program. We want to especially thank barbers Jarvis Brooks, Devin Harris, Delvero Brown, Corey Egleston, Rose Werden, Joseph Commander, Anthony Fleming, Rodney Adams, Jenna Ballentine, Neka Hunter, BJ Hart, Terrance Josey, Jolin Barnes and everyone for making Cuts for
Gabbiee a great success.
