Students discussed the book and the facts surrounding the case, participated in a role playing simulation, and analyzed a Look magazine article written a month after two men were acquitted of killing Emmett Till. In the afternoon, Dr. Nicholas Cooper-Lewter came to speak to the students on the issue of social injustice.
