The Ridge View DECA chapter hosted the DECA Region II Competition on Thursday, December 4th. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. The following Ridge View members qualified to compete in the DECA State Competition on February 28th in Charleston, South Carolina:
- Shelby Carmichael (1st Place): Apparel and Accessories Marketing
- Sydney Swann (2nd Place): Sports and Entertainment Marketing
- Valerie Hicks (3rd Place): Hotel and Lodging Management
- Aisha Clay (4th Place): Restaurant and Food Service Management
- Keshia Alexander (4th Place): Apparel and Accessories Marketing
