Buren Martin from the Baillie Players, a touring theater company from Inman, S.C., was here at RVHS working on an interdisciplinary unit with the English 1 classes. He helped bring Romeo and Juliet to life by placing the students on the stage and working with the material the way it was originally intended. This unit culminated with a Romeo and Juliet play on Friday, February 20th in which Mr. Martin performed with RVHS students. This was made possible with a grant from the State Department of Education: Arts Curricular Innovation Grant.
