Fairfield Electric Cooperative Washington Youth Tour
Each year, three local high school juniors are chosen to represent the Fairfield Electric Cooperative on the Washington Youth Tour, which will be held on June 13-18, 2015. This tour gives students a chance to see government in action, visit historical sights and learn about electric cooperatives. Fairfield's Youth Tour representatives will be chosen on the basis of their school and community involvement, communication skills and knowledge about cooperatives. In addition, the Electric Cooperatives of South Carolina will award a $2,000 scholarship to one of the South Carolina Youth Tour participants.
