ARTS: Blazer Artists Win 28 Awards at Southeast Competition
Ridge View art students won 28 awards through the Scholastic Art and Writing Southeast Region Competition. Recipients included Sophie Angela, Victoria Azize, Brianna Baldwin, Allison Bickham, Jamie Carder, Spencer Creech, Alaisha Davis, Jeffrey Ford, Summer Franklin, Lydia Hinson, Sava Kucherin, Carly Lawyer, Maggie Mozdzierz, Rakeem Perry, Joshua Robinson, Margaret Seufer, Joshua Wiley-English, Deja Ferguson, Nate Meadowns, Charlie Nguyen, and Arneisha Branch. Twelve of the winning entries received a Gold Key, the Scholastic Awards highest recognition. These Gold Key entries will now compete at the national level with notification of winners coming out on March 15th. Best of luck Blazers!
