ACTIVITIES: StuCo Wins National Award for 2nd Time
Ridge View's Student Council was recognized by the National Association of Student Councils with the National Gold Council of Excellence Award. In a message to Principal Brenda Mack-Foxworth, Jeff Sherrill, Associate Director of the NASC, wrote "This was no small task and their success in earning the award is a testament to the leadership and support you give to them, and to the value placed on student council as an integral part of your school and its educational mission." This is the second year in a row that our Blazer Student Council has won this award. Congratulations to Ms. Michelle Goings, Student Activities Director, and to our Student Council on a job superbly done!
