The School for the Arts and National Art Honor Society are teaming up to host the Second Annual Raku-B-Q at RVHS. Rakus is a ceramic process of glaze firing that utilizes combustion and deaeration to producte a unique and indescent surface effect on pottery. If you'd like to take home a small raku fired vase, show up between 9 am and 11 am to glaze a piece before it hits the kiln. The event will take place in E-lot and the day's activities will include reduction firing demonstrations, and field day style games. All are welcome!
