At the end of each school year, the Ridge View High School Senior student-athlete that displays the qualities of selflessness, leadership, passion, joy and competitiveness earns the Cornelius Harvin Award. This award is given annually to honor Cornelius and his contributions during and after his time here. Cornelius passed away in 2011 and leaves behind a legacy of greatness that transcends sports. The award is one of the highest honors a Blazer student-athlete can earn during his or her time her.
