The PSAT/NMSQT will be administered on October 14th. All sophomores will be tested as well as any juniors who sign up for the test. All juniors who would like to take the test must sign-up with Mrs. Aldighieri in D-95. The cost of the test is $15. However, there are a few fee waivers available for students who qualify for free/reduced lunch.
The National Merit Scholarship program is an annual academic competition among high school students for recognition and college scholarships. The PSAT/NMSQT is the qualifying test for entry to the 2017 National Merit Program. The competition will span about 18 months from entry in October 2015 until the Spring of 2017 when scholarships for college undergraduate study will be awarded.
