The SMOOTH Movement (Serious Men
Operating On-Purpose Through Honor) is an empowerment program in which young
men of character, leadership, and morals meet together with the common purpose
to provide an uplifting positive image for male students at Ridge View High
School. A SMOOTH young man is committed to
academics, has respect for self and others, and is willing develop to a school
and community leader. He is also well-dressed
which means that he DOES NOT sag his pants. It is our hope that we will bring
young boys and mold them into SMOOTH young men. It is also our goal for
students to participate and understand the importance of community service. The SMOOTH Movement will strive to
positively impact Ridge View and surrounding community. We believe that with a
small group of positive leaders, you can influence an entire school to become
positive leaders. The program meets on Monday's during lunch in Room B48.
