College Application Day will be held on Monday, November 9th. This is a statewide initiative that will allow your student time to go to the Library Commons and apply to the college of his/her choice with the aid of both faculty and select admissions representatives. Many (but not all) application fees will be waived that day, so have your student be prepared with the following:
- A form of payment if the application fee is not waived (debit or credit card).
- A pre-written personal statement and/or essay of a flash drive. If you don't know if your student's college of choice requires this, please check out the university website, call the university's admissions office, or stop by D-95 for assistance?
The following schools will be waiving application fees and/or have an existing free application: Allen, Benedict, Central Carolina Tech, Coastal Carolina, Coker, College of Charleston, Columbia College, Converse, Erskine, Francis Marion, Horry Georgetown Tech, Kenneth Shuler, Limestone, Newberry, Piedmont Tech, S.C. State, Spartanburg Methodist, USC Lancaster (if you have applied to another USC location), USC Salkehatchie, USC Union, and Winthrop.
