2014 Scholars Academy Magnet graduate Jazmin Goodwin has been awarded the prestigious White House correspondents scholarship for 2016. Goodwin, currently studying journalism at Howard University, will receive the scholarship at the annual White House correspondents dinner in April as a guest of Present and Mrs. Obama.
