Several changes have been made to the school calendar in order to make-up days missed because of the flood in October and to accommodate the state testing schedule that was announced in January by the S.C. Department of Education. The changes include:
February 15: Students attend school. This is one of the three inclement weather make-up days built into the calendar.
March 24: Early release day for elementary and middle schools has been moved to March 25th. There is no change for high school students on this day.
March 25: Students attend school. Early release day for elementary and middle schools. This is one of the three inclement weather make-up days built into the calendar.
April 28: Early release day for elementary and middle schools has been moved to April 29. There is no change for high school students on this day.
April 29: Students attend school. Early release day for elementary and middle schools. This is one of the three inclement weather make-up days built into the calendar.
A decision has not been made about the fifth day missed. We will wait to see if we miss any additional days due to inclement weather.
