ACADEMICS: Local Media Interview Scholars Academy Students
On March 4th, members of the Scholars Academy Junior Class were interviewed along with Representative Mia McLeod by WACH Fox, WLTX and WOLO ABC regarding their work advocating for passage of a Teen Relationship Violence Protection Bill called Sierra's Law. If passed, this bill will provide teens with education, the ability to file for Orders of Protection, and additionally funded services in the local community if experiencing an abusive relationship.
