On April 30th, Jazmin Goodwin, a Class of 2014 Ridge View Scholars Academy Magnet Graduate, was honored as a White House Correspondents Association Scholarship recipient at the annual White House Correspondents Association dinner featuring some of the nations most prominent and influential citizens such as President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. The $7,000 scholarship award is highly selective and is vetted through a resume, essay, references and an interview process.
