One Final Graduation Reminder To Seniors

Seniors, this is your last reminder.  Graduation is tomorrow!!  Enjoy your special day.  RIDGE VIEW WILL MISS YOU!!
  1. Participants in the ceremony are required to wear their Ridge View a cap, gown, and tassel.
  2. You must dress appropriately for the graduation ceremony.
    • Females: Dress, skirt, or dress pants in a solid color, dress shoes with a strap around the heel; a hairstyle that allows you to wear the cap.  The ramp is steep, so your heel should be a modest height so that you do not trip or fall on the ramps.
    • Males: Shirt with a collar (preferably white), tie, long dress slacks, and dress shoes with dress socks.
  3. No jewelry is allowed on or outside your graduation gown.  Earrings are permissible but should be modest.
  4. You should carry nothing with you, including phone, purse, stuffed animals, balloons, signs, food, or drink.
  5. Do not embellish or bedazzle your cap and gown.
  6. Only official Ridge View honor cords and stoles may be worn.
  7. Arrive at the Loading Dock entrance of the Colonial Life Arena by 10:45 AM on Wednesday, June 1st.  Allow plenty of time for traffic and parking.  Construction will have some roads closed.
  8. Balloons, signs, and noise makers are not allowed in the arena during graduation.
  9.  Maintain appropriate behavior before, during and after the ceremony.  Inappropriate behavior includes, but are not limited to: calling out, throwing caps in the air, cheering, loud & inappropriate noises, waving to the crowd as you cross the stage, dancing across the stage, ringing cell phones, inappropriate hand signals or gestures
  10. Graduation officials reserve the right to pull from the line any senior dressed, equipped, or behaving inappropriately and run the risk of not receiving your diploma.
