Seniors, please make note of the following procedures and information for the Graduation Ceremony.
- Participants in the ceremony are required to wear their Ridge View a cap, gown, and tassel.
- You must dress appropriately for the graduation ceremony.
- Females: Dress, skirt, or dress pants in a solid color, dress shoes with a strap around the heel; a hairstyle that allows you to wear the cap. The ramp is steep, so your heel should be a modest height so that you do not trip or fall on the ramps.
- Males: Shirt with a collar (preferably white), tie, long dress slacks, and dress shoes with dress socks.
- No jewelry is allowed on or outside your graduation gown. Earrings are permissible but should be modest.
- You should carry nothing with you, including phone, purse, stuffed animals, balloons, signs, food, or drink.
- Do not embellish or bedazzle your cap and gown.
- Only official Ridge View honor cords and stoles may be worn.
- Arrive at the Loading Dock entrance of the Colonial Life Arena by 10:45 AM on Wednesday, June 1st. Allow plenty of time for traffic and parking. Construction will have some roads closed.
- Balloons, signs, and noise makers are not allowed in the arena during graduation.
- Graduation officials reserve the right to pull from the line any senior dressed, equipped, or behaving inappropriately.
