Julie Kenison was recently named the new boys and girls cross country coach at Ridge View. Athletic Director Brian Rosefield says Kenison brings an enormous amount of knowledge, passion and energy to the cross country program. "We feel very fortunate to have found someone with her experience to coach our young men and women. Coach Kenison is one of the most personable people I have ever been around and I am glad to have her on our team to lead our student-athletes," said Rosefield. Kenison has experience coaching high school and collegiate athletes in Texas. "I am so looking forward to re-entering the coaching field here at Ridge View High and becoming a Blazer! Being a lifelong runner myself and a fan of young people, desiring to help them on the path to reaching their best potential, both as people and athletes, I am eager to become a part of their lives," she said. On the diamond, Coach Julio Iglesias, a Ridge View alum, says he is honored to be named head coach and thankful to Principal Dr. Brenda Mack-Foxworth and Brian Rosefield for the opportunity.
