ACADEMICS: Health Science Students Tour Fairfield Memorial
Institute for Health Sciences juniors and the Health Science 2 students traveled to Fairfield Memorial Hospital. The students had the opportunity to compare rural and urban hospitals. During their visit, they met the Directors of Human Resources, Material Management, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Radiology. Shayla Hicks discussed the key reminders of interviewing for a health care position including proper dress and attire. The students received other advice including always putting both feet forward on any opportunity. The students were also able to tour and speak to professionals in the Emergency Room and Radiology.
